Picture the backstreets of Newtown, Sydney. Graffiti covered roller doors down every alleyway, and behind one of them, tucked away from the hustle of King Street sits a little brewery with two mates having a go at brewing the first batch of Young Henrys beer to ever exist.
After overcoming some hurdles from the local council, co-founders Oscar McMahon and Richard Adamson brought their knowledge of the hospitality industry and brewing together to create the independent Australian brewery you've come to know as Young Henrys.
The YH guiding principle of "serving the people" was innate from our inception, with our flagship brew Newtowner coming to being as a gift to our 2042 postcode's 150th birthday.
2012 laid the foundation for everything to come, founded on mateship, a passion for bringing people together, and creating beers locals could be proud to call their own.
